Q.  Is San Diego Lions Scholarship Foundation a 501-C3 Corporation?
     A.  Yes, we are.  Your donations are tax-deductible.

Q.  Are the officers receiving compensation of any kind?
     A.  No, none of the officers and staff are receiving any compensation at all.  They are all LIONS (Lions Clubs International Members) and are all doing their jobs as volunteers.

Q.  How much money are you paying for your current office space in National City?
     A.  Zero.  We are not paying a single cent for the use of our office.  The owner is a Lion member and donated the use of the office for free.  In fact, there are seven (7) clubs/organizations meeting (using the conference room) at the same office free of charge.

Q.  I don't have $100 to become a Frank P. Rivera Fellow or Jim Ashcraft Fellow but I want to help, can I donate a small amount to help your commendable objectives?
     A.  Yes, most certainly.  Any amount would be very much appreciated.  Send your checks to our office address, with or without the downloadable form for donations.  Make your check payable to LIONS SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION or you can go the "Donation" page of this Website and click the "donate" button and use your Pay Pal account or your credit card. 

Q.  Donations from the Fellowship Program (the Frank Rivera & Jim Ashcraft Fellowships) are they used only for your Scholarship Program? 
     A.  Yes

Q.  I heard about the Lions Clubs, Lions Clubs International, and the Lions Clubs International Foundation, how can I join the Lions?
     A.  You can join any of our fourteen (14) clubs (La Jolla Presidents, San Diego Classic gold, San Diego Cosmopolitan, San Diego Delta, San Diego Stars, San Diego Executive, San Diego Forever, San Diego Majestic, San Diego Pathfinders, San Diego Premier, San Diego Rancho Bernardo & San Diego TFC , San Diego Miramar, San Diego United ) or join any of the Lions Clubs in the San Diego and Imperial Counties (District 4-L6).  You can learn more about the clubs in our District (District 4-L6), Lions Clubs International and Lions Clubs International Foundation by opening our "Links" page
